
Elite Dance Company is proud to be the first and only company in the industry to offer you the Fall Football Spectacular contest in San Antonio, TX! This is the only contest of its kind as it allows you to enter up to 5 football routines and perform them on the field, for evaluation by our experienced judges. We also offer you the opportunity to compete in pep rally routines, and officer pep rally routines! We will offer our Fall Football Spectacular on Saturday, October 25, 2008 hosted by the Somerset High School Silver Dancers Dance Team. Admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for childern under the age of 5 and senior citzens.
You may enter field an pep rally routines in the following categories: Pom, Kick, Military, Jazz, Novelty, Prop, Hip Hop, Tap/Clogging, Combination (i.e. a Military Kick).
Awards you can receive are as follows:
1st Division (85 or above on any routine)
2nd Division (84-75 on any routine)
3rd Division (74 or below on any routine)
Sweepstakes-Field (1st Division on 3 or more routines)
Sweepstakes Elite-Field (Score of 90 or above on 3 or more routines)
Sweepstakes-Pep Rally (1st Division on 3 or more routines)
Sweepstakes Elite-Pep Rally (Score of 90 or above on 3 or more routines)
Sweepstakes–Officer Pep Rally
Sweepstakes Elite-Officer Pep Rally
Best in Category for every category (if there is only one team in a category, the team must score a 93 or above to receive this award)

*Note, if you are entering more than 3 routines only the top 3 scoring routines will count towards the final average score.
Grouping of this contest will be based on team size and will be as follows:
Extra Small Team: Under 12 members
Small Team: 12-20 members
Medium Team: 21-49 members
Large Team: 50-79 members
Extra Large Team: 80 members or more
There will be a separate Jr. High/Middle School (6-8) category and Elementary (k-5) category.
Officer squads will be categorized based on team size, for example, a small team can only compete a small officer squad.
There will not be any solo or ensemble entries accepted at our Fall Football Spectacular State Contest.
Rules & Regulations for Fall Football Spectacular Contest ONLY
- All field routines may not be longer than 3 minutes or a 5 point penalty will incur for every 30 seconds over. There will be a 5 second grace period. This does not include field entrance and exit. Voiceover introductions for band arrangements will NOT be counted as part of the 3 minute guideline.
Field entrances may be choreographed, and may not exceed 2 minutes. Field entrances will not be judged as part of the routine, but teams CAN receive a separate award for their field entrance. - All pep rally routines may not be longer than 2.5 minutes or a 5 point penalty will incur for every 30 second over. There will be a 5 second grace period. This does not include entrance or exit.
- All routines must use appropriate music and should the music be inappropriate (i.e. language, subject matter, etc) you will be subject to an unlimited amount of penalties at the discretion of the judge.
- All teams need to bring a CD or cassette copy of their music, with backups as well. Each song needs to be separate on its own CD or cassette, and recorded at the correct speed. While we can adjust the pitch, Elite Dance Company will not be responsible for errors in the pitch during competition. Teams will not be docked points for music malfunctions, but may be asked to start over.
Only one start over is allowed for each music malfunction. It is imperative that you have a back up for your music in the event of a music malfunction.
Props and backgrounds have a limit of 2 minutes to set up and if you need to have parents or workers help you with prop set up, please contact the Elite Dance office to make arrangements. - Payment for contest entry fees must be made 10 days prior to contest or your team will be removed from the schedule. All monies must be received via school check, booster club check, or money order. No personal checks will be accepted for payment.
- The decision of the judges will be final. As our judges are hired based on their experience in the field, we will trust their judgement and their final decision.
- A tentative schedule will be emailed out to all directors one week prior to the contest and a final schedule will be emailed the day before the contest.
- Please note: schedules can and do run ahead or behind schedule, please be prepared and notify parents of this possibility.
- All music must be turned upon check in the day of the event.
- Check in for the event will begin at 7:00am. Each Director will receive a Director name tag and two complimentary name tags to be used for Assistant Directors, parent chaperones, managers, etc. Directors, Assistant Directors, Chaperones, and managers who receive a complimentary name must be in attire identifying them as a member of the group and must wear their name tag at all times.
- Cost of admission is $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults. Children aged 5 and under will not be charged admission.
- In an effort to support our host school, absolutely NO outside food and beverage may be brought on to the school grounds or athletic complex, we ask that you please respect our host schools in this. Concessions can be purchased from our host school for this event.
- Each team will be assigned a dressing area and a host for the event. All dressing rooms must be clean and returned to their prior condition or a $100.00 maintenance fee will be billed to the school. If damage happens to any dressing room the team who occupied the dressing room will be billed for all applicable repairs.
- All evaluation sheets and talk tapes will be given to the DIRECTOR or ASSISTANT DIRECTOR ONLY at the conclusion of contest.
- Elite Dance Company and our host school will not be held accountable for any items left behind. Should you need to retrieve an item left behind, we ask that you contact the host school and make arrangements to get the item(s) back. This includes awards received at contest.
- Elite Dance Company and our host school do not provide an on-site trainer, therefore, while we can provide ice for minor injuries, we can not offer any additional assistance.
- We will provide a videographer and a photographer for the event, however, they are independent from Elite Dance Company and concerns or questions regarding their services must be made through contacting them directly. Elite Dance Company can not be held liable for any concerns or issues that arise through the use of their services.
- Refunds: Any cancellations to this contest 7 business days prior to contest are entitled to a refund minus a $75 processing fee. Refund request MUST be received in writing no later than 7 business days prior to the contest. Refunds will be processed two weeks after the contest end date and will be processed via a check or money order.
- Contests which are canceled due to inclement weather or a natural disaster are not entitled to a refund, we will do our best to re-schedule the event. In the event that it can not be re-scheduled, or if your school can not attend due to inclement weather on your end, you can use your payments towards future Elite Dance events.

ELITE PERFORMANCE eVenture
All team members who are inducted into either E-Line or E-Company will receive an invitation to perform at Walt Disney World in Florida. This performance opportunity will occur during the 2009 Spring Break Season during the week of March 9th. The duration of the trip and additional information will be announced soon. These dates will help to ensure the maximum number of E-Line and E-Company members eligible for participation.
