Elite Dance Company offers the Five Diamond Camp Experience, which is the complete camp package! EDC offers custom choreography sessions which provide directors the flexibility to design a summer camp program specifically for their individual team. Directors are given the option to decide the level of competitiveness of camp based on their teams needs. At camp teams will focus on dance technique, team building activities, directors and managers training, and master classes with guest choreographers. Directors will have the opportunity to network with each other and to prepare for the year. Let EDC prepare you and your team for a FIVE DIAMOND YEAR!
Camp is the essential first step to creating a safe and successful year. It is where squads become TEAMS. Camp is a non-negotiable! Here’s why:
DEVELOP SKILLS AND CHOREOGRAPHY
Camp allots teams the opportunity to have five custom choreography sessions that are designed specifically to meet the director’s requests. Contest or Football Routines, Pep Rally or Spring Show Performances, or customized technical training, the choice is yours. (Please make note that each Contest Routine or Spring Show Routine will constitute two custom choreography sessions, due to their length and complexity.) During camp technique sessions teams can stay together or divide up accordingly, levels will vary between beginning and advanced levels. Students will learn to progress through across the floor drills in order to lay the groundwork for technical advancement in a safe and effective manner.
BUILD YOUR TEAM
Camp is the perfect time and the ideal setting for your team to UNITE. Teams will set individual and group goals, learn conflict resolution strategies, and participate in leadership workshops. EDC provides a specific time for the sole purpose of focusing on creating a cohesive unit out of your team members. WE believe “TEAM” is just that important.
CREATE CONFIDENCE
Through the experiences provided at camp your team will be given the opportunity to start the year off with a feeling of confidence and a sense of success. From learning routines from our dynamic and enthusiastic staff members to competing in Final Day Evaluations, each activity develops the confidence that is needed to succeed throughout the year.
STAY CURRENT
By learning form experts in the industry with a wide variety of experience and specialties, you and your team will stay on top of the latest trends and issues in the industry. Camp is the best way to stay up-to-date on the cutting edge skills, technique, choreography and safety regulations in our every changing and highly competitive industry.
